Beauty and Makeup Haul - dreamGirl, Human Nature, Marionaud, Elianto, Orly

Ok so I've been always wanting to do this ever since I met the lovely beauty and makeup bloggers Kat, Aya, and Say and read their articles. Now I don't have any plan of being an expert beauty blogger but I do want to show some of the beauty related stuff that I bought recently.

On the top of my list of things that I really needed to buy was a lipstick. I have a Laura Mercier lipstick - Healthy Lips which is my current fave but its a matte one. So I decided to get this really cool lipstick from Watson's dreamGirl - a byproduct of 4U2. Its a symphony sparkling lipstick no. 2 giving me the perfect peachy hue that I want -- WITH SPARKLES! :) yay for glitter!

Next thing that I got (finally!) is Love Minerals by Human Nature. I got the Blush Shade 02 Tropical Rose which suits my skin tone. The best feature I love about it is that its 100% chemical free! Love it! I also bought a brand new brush from Marionnaud - the N32 Slanted blusher brush. Its made of synthetic fibers - smooth to sweep the blusher on the skin with a firm touch!  I saw it from one of my friends and decided to finally buy it after comparing with other brushes in Watsons (hehehe.. yes that's the store where I check out most of the local/asian makeup)! Though its a bit more expensive than the other brushes that I saw, the Marionnaud brush gave the greatest coverage and the slanted cut makes it easier for me to use!

And lastly, thanks to Aya and Jen, I was able to buy some Elianto polishes at a really great price! I just also recently had my nails done and this is a result of a combination of two coatings of Elianto Blue Splash 29 with a top coat of Orly Limelite. Here's my NOTD!

SM Accessories Makes A Statement!

Jen invited me to go with her to the launch but unfortunately due to an asthma attack, my health was in a fragile condition and opted to stay at home. In my behalf, Jen invited my sister Laura instead, and she went along with Jen to the SM Accessories Media Launch!

A lot of celebrities attended and even modeled the show like Tim Yap, Mariel Rodriguez, Cheska Garcia, Sam Pinto, Baron Geisler, and even some kids were in the fashion show! Of course besides the celebrities, the accessories took center stage being the spotlight of the event.

For me, I have always adored accessories! Now with this new launch, shopping for accessories at SM Department Store will make my life easier. Can't wait to go to SM and do some accessory shopping!

Just wanted to feature this cool accessory. We all thought it was just a key holder. Then my mom figured out that it also served as a nail cutter! hehe.. so cool! Because of that my mom gets all the swag. :)

Let me just say that I'm soooo glad that I chose to get an android phone when I bought one last November. One little blessing with my android phone is that I get updated FAST with all my friends' blogs and I get to read em all even when I'm not online.That makes me one happy blogger! Now let me introduce to you one amazing Android App that can do wonders to your photos - LITTLE PHOTO.

Anyway, with all the hype about Instagram, I've been curious about it lately. I love how the photos come out with the Instagram (an iPhone app unfortunately.. ) and I also found out that it has also a "social network" feature to it. Lucky apple users! Still I wanted the photo effects badly so I searched in the android market and found Little Photo - a photo app that adds "film and retouch effects" on your everyday ordinary pictures! I couldn't believe that it was free (THANK GOODNESS!) and I love the amazing photo effects! It even makes ugly photos look good with the effects! And the choices are endless! Here are some samples:

The Little Photo app makes me feel like a pro! I love it! Its sooo good that I just had to blog about it. Here are some additional features that makes me love it a whole lot more:

• Auto saves original photo
• Can use high resolution 800px (may not work on some older phones)
• Has sharing capacity (twitter yeah!)
• Has additional tools such as text, draw, frames, 4eyes (4 photo collage), etc.

It now has around 10,000 plus people installing it on the market but more than a million at Appbrain. And I just wanted to share it to you guys to satisfy your craving for instagram! LOL.
